REVIEW OF 2011 EXPEDITION
(Ogogoro & Takwabay Communities of Lagos State)
Lagos State being one of the Coastal states under the Foundation’s scope of operation, the CROWEF implemented the 2011 mission in two creek communities of Lagos State. , known as Ogogoro and Takwabay. The mission was carried out on the 20th May 2011.

The two communities are located in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State. The inhabitants of Ogogoro community are Ijaw and Egun people. Takwabay is a multi ethnic settlement that has a population of about seven thousand people; which makes it relatively larger than Ogogoro community.
